This is a message to officers in the French Army on how to establish lodging for troops and how to deal with the inhabitants of villages. The document is in incredible condition. A small tear on the very back of document. The document is dated Janurary 12, 1694. There is a note from the previous owner on the plastic cover that it came in. It states that the document was purchased in France 20 years ago for $30.00 American dollars from an antique shop. I purchased this document 5 years ago from a dealer in Beverly Hills. There is a tremendous amount of hand writing on the document and signatures from 5 officiers. This is a stunning document and is a must for any collector.
